Livi Perrone is a writer, director, producer, and multimedia story developer

Livi began her career as a performer. She performed in 35+ plays and musicals before the age of 18. She worked professionally from ages 12-16, gaining additional experience in NYC theater, television, and film, before deciding to pursue a writing career. Livi studied playwriting, television, and screenwriting in the Dramatic Writing program at NYU.

While in school, she wrote the book of an original musical entitled “Happily: The Musical” which premiered at New York Musical Festival in 2017 and has since been produced 10 times, including off-Broadway at The Actor’s Temple.

For many years, she had the pleasure of writing original musicals for her family’s theatre company, Riverside Theatre Arts. Livi helped to direct and produce 14 musicals and 6 special events for RTA during their ten years in business. She took over the business full-time, devising and running their annual programming from 2017-2019 at the Riverside Theatre Arts Academy on main street in Cornwall, NY.

During the pandemic, Livi began studying transmedia storytelling and marketing strategy. She has since launched a multimedia development and production company, Lost Princess Presents (read more below).

Lost Princess Presents is a company dedicated to the development, production, and marketing of multimedia entertainment. We develop fictional worlds using the principles of transmedia design, also known as multiplatform storytelling. After thoroughly crafting each intellectual property, we prepare them to be produced or licensed. For independent projects, we provide creative marketing strategies that reflect the multifaceted composition of the worlds we’ve built.

We are developing a hybrid platform called POCKET (named after the concept of pocket dimensions) that will combine aspects of a streaming service and crowdfunding site. Creative projects are shared with the public as a tool for audience acquisition and pitching. Viewers can explore each story world by reading, watching, listening, and collecting artifacts from their favorite pocket dimension. Dedicated fans invest in the worlds that they love and receive the instant gratification of diving deeper into the story.

We want our company to be a prolific and prosperous environment where creators build sustainable careers by investing in their art first and foremost. It is our mission to create opportunities for early career artists and performers. And wherever possible, we will incorporate action steps for positive social change into our production strategies.
